Starting at TT Fusion on LEGO The Hobbit was my first professional design role in industry. After spending a few months in the QA department of the same studio fresh out of university, I was extremely excited to be part of the development team as a Junior Designer, working on a franchise I adored.
My work involved:
Owning and building multiple levels.
Following, iterating on and evolving design docs, and communicating those iterations to the rest of the design and art team.
Scripting level events and flow using level markup and the text-based level scripting tool.
Animating objects within the levels.
