LEGO: The Hobbit

Starting at TT Fusion on LEGO The Hobbit was my first professional design role in industry. After spending a few months in the QA department of the same studio fresh out of university, I was extremely excited to be part of the development team as a Junior Designer, working on a franchise I adored.

My work involved:

  • Owning and building multiple levels.

  • Following, iterating on and evolving design docs, and communicating those iterations to the rest of the design and art team.

  • Scripting level events and flow using level markup and the text-based level scripting tool.

  • Animating objects within the levels.
